Marsy’s law
If you or your loved one has been the victim of a crime, you have rights.
The Victim’s Bill of Rights, also known as Marsy’s Law, provides victims of crimes certain protections, including giving a victim impact statement or the getting paid back (restitution) from the person who committed the crime.
Crimes with victims include: hit and run, DUI, theft, financial abuse, exploitation, elder abuse, graffiti, domestic violence, and many others.
